Right behind the cruise terminal you'll find plenty of shopping options. First up is the Royal Plaza Mall, and a little further along the waterfront road (L.G. Smith Boulevard) is the Renaissance Mall — definitely worth exploring. Countless shops covering virtually every luxury brand you can think of.
We leave the mall toward Havenstraat and stroll through the old town. Here things feel a little less touristy, and there are many charming little boutiques just waiting to tempt you.

In the harbor area alone you'll find nine shopping centers — all fairly new yet beautifully integrated into Oranjestad's colonial architecture.

Countless colorful streets invite you to linger, shop, and browse. Time seems to slip away without you even noticing.

Fully loaded with bags, we leave the city around 1:00 pm to make it back in time for our afternoon excursion.
