Anse de Clugny
Anse de Clugny is another wonderful beach, just a few kilometres northwest of St. Rose. Some visitors love the strong surf waves here, while others prefer the calm waters on the right side, where the sea gently laps back and forth in a natural rock pool. Above the beach, a restaurant invites you to linger.

Parc des Mamelles
The national park on Basse-Terre can be reached via the D24 into the interior. The wildlife park Parc des Mamelles is located just before the area of the same name, Mamelles, from where several hiking trails lead down into the gorge and up into the rainforest. Cascade aux Ecrevisses
A few hundred metres from the park, a short wheelchair-accessible path leads to the small and beautiful Crayfish Waterfall, the Cascade aux Ecrevisses. It is a wonderful spot for a refreshing dip and also for a break at the lovely picnic area near the waterfall. About 15 minutes further east by car, towards Vernou, you will find another waterfall. It is called Saut de la L
