Getting to Guadeloupe

Air France and Air Caraibes fly from Paris to Guadeloupe. From Germany, you land at Charles de Gaulle Airport and can take the shuttle to Paris Orly Airport. Allow two to three hours for the transfer to Paris Orly, from where flights depart for Guadeloupe and Martinique — but it's best to check current schedules. There are also regular feeder flights from French airports near the German border directly to Paris Orly.

Additionally, there are numerous ferry connections to and from Guadeloupe. www.express-des-iles.com and www.jeansforfreedom.com operate between Les Saintes, Marie-Galante, Antigua, St. Lucia and Dominica. Some of these companies cooperate with each other.

With Air Caraibes you can fly from Martinique to Guadeloupe in about one hour for around €126 per person, landing at Pointe-a-Pitre International Airport.

Particularly affordable flights are offered by Air France, since Guadeloupe is a French overseas department.
