Soller Bay on Mallorca

Cayo Largo to Cayo Guano

Crossing from Cayo Largo to Cayo Guano

October 25

Before heading back towards Cienfuegos, we go shopping at the marina store. Unfortunately, there's no bread - so we buy a kind of muesli instead. Timo says it tastes like cardboard - he's right!

We cast off and head along Cayo Largo out to the open sea. Again we have enormous waves, so we mainly stay on board and keep the horizon in sight. Suddenly a shout from Daniela: "Dolphins!" - 2 dolphins have spotted us and swim and jump alongside us. A magnificent sight. They follow us for a good 20 minutes, watching us while we cheer and clap. In the afternoon, we get to snorkel one more time in the crystal-clear water off a neighboring island of Cayo Guano. After about an hour, we continue to Cayo Guano, where we anchor in the bay and spend the night. Before going to bed, we play another round of dominoes and today our captain actually gets lucky!
