Back on the ship by around 12:30 PM, we grab a taxi to Magens Bay on the other side of the island. A steep, narrow, winding road climbs over a hill and drops down to Magens Bay.

We enjoy a perfect afternoon on the beach, swimming and relaxing – until a fierce Caribbean downpour nearly carries our belongings away.

We don't mind one bit – the water is wonderfully warm, and we keep right on swimming.
