Mauritius has a tropical climate with average temperatures ranging between 20°C and 30°C. The seasons are defined by wet and dry periods. The rainy season runs from December to April, while the dry season lasts from May to November.
Rainfall in Mauritius is generally quite high, especially during the rainy season. Average annual precipitation is around 2,300 mm and humidity remains elevated throughout the year.
Water temperatures around the island are also fairly consistent, averaging between 25°C and 27°C — making Mauritius a perfect destination for a blissful beach holiday.
