Allens Cay
The crossing to Allens Cay, our anchorage for the night, takes about 8 hours through some pretty rough seas. Many boats gather in this sheltered bay for the night. Here we visit the unique Exuma iguanas, an endangered species found only on these islands. After dropping anchor, Bernd serves us a delicious sundowner before ferrying us to the island. We feed the iguanas with our fruit scraps — they're already waiting on the beach and even jump up to grab the food. Be careful with your fingers and use a stick to hand over the treats!
To round off the day, Dani serves us a lovely dinner and a few cool drinks...
