Here we report on a 7-day cruise to the western Caribbean from Miami via Costa Maya, Belize, Cozumel, and Grand Cayman aboard the Liberty of the Seas, a Freedom-class cruise ship by Royal Caribbean. A ship of superlatives. The onboard language is English and the passengers are mostly American.

The ship makes a fantastic impression, and you could easily spend the entire vacation exploring the Liberty of the Seas. For a cruise in this class, we would have expected a higher price. We paid EUR 463 per person for an interior cabin on Deck 8.
