Bahamas Cruise with the Majesty of the Seas

4-Day Caribbean Cruise with Royal Caribbean from Miami

Here we report on a 4-day cruise to the Bahamas from Miami with a stop at Key West aboard the Majesty of the Seas, a beautiful Sovereign-class ship by Royal Caribbean.

The onboard language is English and the passengers are mostly American.

About the Ship and Passengers:

I was mainly curious to see what had changed, since I had been on this ship 5 years earlier, before it was extensively renovated and enlarged in 2007. Since then, she accommodates 2,744 passengers and alongside many highlights, there's now also a climbing wall and a basketball court.

What else the Majesty has to offer:

  • Casino RoyaleSM
  • 2 outdoor pools
  • 2 whirlpools
  • Adventure Ocean® — facilities for children and teens
  • ShipShape® Day Spa and Fitness Center
  • and a whole lot of entertainment

Overall, the ship makes a great impression, though there was some crowding at the buffets. On the larger ships, this tends to spread out more in my experience.

But for a cruise to the Bahamas with this level of comfort at a price of just EUR 223 per person, I really can't complain. Especially since the 3-course dinner in the grand dining room is also included and is excellent.
