Bahamas Cruise Day 3: CocoCay

CocoCay - Bahamas

April 14 - 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM - Tender

We take the tender boat over to CocoCay right after breakfast. CocoCay is one of Royal Caribbean's private islands. The island is tiny and has stunning beaches. Everything related to water sports is on offer here — from inflatable water slides and snorkeling to jet skiing and diving.

If you stay right at the pier, you'll have to share the loungers with masses of people. Better to walk a few steps — it's well worth it.

But if you walk a few steps, you can spend a peaceful day on a stunning beach without the crowds. In some spots, you can wade several hundred meters out into the sea, or explore the Nature Trail — here too, we barely encounter another soul. In short, CocoCay is a wonderful Caribbean island that offers superb relaxation away from the hustle and bustle. Unfortunately, our snorkeling trip is canceled as an approaching storm makes swimming unsafe.

At noon, there's a grand barbecue that leaves nothing to be desired.
