Caribbean Cruise with Celebrity Cruises in April
Here we describe an 11-day cruise through the southern Caribbean (Southern Caribbean Cruise) aboard the GALAXY, a 5-star ship from Celebrity Cruises with ports of call at:
San Juan, Puerto Rico; Tortola, B.V.I.; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Castries, St. Lucia; Bridgetown, Barbados; St. George's, Grenada; Willemstad, Curaçao; Oranjestad, Aruba; and back to San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Galaxy is no longer part of the Celebrity fleet — today the Celebrity Summit sails a similar route.
The cruise cost €570 per person in an inside cabin with full board — which almost made up for the nightly 4-course dinner alone.
The timing was nearly perfect, as the dry season had already begun on most islands.
The cruise starts and ends in Puerto Rico, where we spent five more days in the southeast afterwards.
