Caribbean Cruise with Royal Caribbean in October
Here we describe a 7-day island tour on Puerto Rico, followed by a 7-day cruise through the southern Caribbean (Southern Caribbean Cruise) with ports of call in: San Juan, Puerto Rico; Oranjestad, Aruba; Willemstad, Curaçao; Philipsburg, St. Maarten; Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas; and back to San Juan, Puerto Rico — aboard the "Adventure of the Seas," a beautiful 4-star Voyager-class ship from Royal Caribbean.
About the Ship & Passengers:
That means plenty of attractions — from an ice rink to a rock-climbing wall, a dining room spanning 3 levels, and a spectacular onboard theater.
In short: across 15 decks, nothing is left to be desired.
The passengers averaged around 35 to 40 years old, and there was plenty of entertainment for all ages.
Despite having 3,114 passengers on board, we always had our peace and quiet and felt relaxed whenever we wanted to. Even at the hot tubs on the sun deck, there were no "queues" on sea days.
We found the best deal directly on the Royal Caribbean website and then booked it through e-hoi.de.
The cruise cost €525 per person in an inside cabin.
The timing was perfect despite hurricane season, and Hurricane Dean had fortunately already moved on.
