Today we have a long sail ahead of us. At 08:30 we weigh anchor and head toward Great Exuma. Fifty nautical miles lie before us. The crossing is rough and we charge through the building waves at up to 8.5 knots. What a thrilling feeling...
Angler's luck is on our side today. We catch two mahi-mahi — also known as dolphinfish. The first measures 0.95 m and the second (a real fighter) 1.20 m. It takes us over 30 minutes to get the big fish on board. So, any guesses what's for dinner tonight? :-)
Around 5:30 PM we reach our anchorage off Stocking Island. It's windy, cool, and we're exhausted. We turn in early after sundowners.
