Our dive guide drops us off in the city centre of Willemstad around 3 pm, gives us a few tips and says goodbye.

We now have about two and a half hours to explore the city, built in the Dutch colonial style. With around 125,000 inhabitants, Willemstad is the largest city of the Netherlands Antilles and the capital of Curaçao.

The Queen Emma Bridge was built in 1886 and is a must-see for every visitor.
To allow ships to pass through, the "Floating Bridge" is simply swung to the side.
