Soller Bay on Mallorca

From Bequia to St. Vincent

Ferry Crossing to St. Vincent — Caribbean

April 18

Lower Bay

We spend the morning once more in gorgeous weather at Lower Bay.

Port Elizabeth

We pass the time before the ferry crossing to St. Vincent with a stroll through Port Elizabeth.

Taking the Ferry from Bequia to St. Vincent

At 1:00 PM we board the ferry operated by the Bequia Express Company from Bequia to St. Vincent. The crossing takes about 1 hour.

Villa Beach

We drive another 30 minutes through Kingstown to the neighborhood of Villa and Villa Beach. Here you'll find the only white sand beaches on St. Vincent. The Beachcombers Hotel is located right on Villa Beach. Just a few meters offshore lies Young Island — a tiny 25-acre island for a luxurious getaway. It once belonged to the founder of the botanical garden of St. Vincent.

Villa and Beachcombers Hotel

The nearby Aquatic Club offers plenty of entertainment options. For a relaxed meal, try the Xcape restaurant and bar with ocean views. Villa Beach and the adjoining Indian Bay are where the tourist action is. You can take boat trips or simply hang out at the beach. There's also a dive center here — http://www.divestvincent.com/
