A refreshing drink at the harbor before we make our way to the Habitation/Chateau Murat. Despite our lacking French skills, the staff here make a great effort to tell us about the estate. Really wonderful! In general, we meet very relaxed and friendly people here.

Next we head to Mare au Punch, a swamp area that has become hard to explore. A few kilometers further we reach the Distillery Bielle. Afterwards we drive to the Distillery Bellevue with its well-preserved windmill. Not far from there stands the Moulin de Bezard, another equally well-preserved windmill.

On the west coast we slowly drive back towards Capesterre. Along the way there's a beach where sea turtles come to lay their eggs. Last night was apparently quite busy, as the fresh nests reveal. 
At the beach in Capesterre we have the place all to ourselves today. Dinner tonight is at Belle Vilma by the harbor in Grand-Bourg. The ambiance is great, but the chicken is unfortunately completely dried out and twice as expensive :-( as the day before at a stall just a few doors down. Much to the delight of the stray cats, who get quite a lot of our leftovers.
