Harrison's Cave and Bridgetown on Barbados

Harrison's Cave

Today we're heading to Harrison's Cave, a stunning stalactite cave near Welchman Hall Gully. For 50 Barbados dollars, after a short introductory video, you take an electric tram down into the cave for a one-hour tour (8:45 AM - 3:45 PM). Expect spectacular stalactite formations, underground lakes and a waterfall. A Walk-In Tour and two additional tours for children and teenagers are also available. Find detailed information at Eco-Adventure Park at Harrison's Cave.

Bridgetown

Afterwards we drive to Bridgetown and explore the historic quarters. The buildings of British colonial architecture define the character of Bridgetown, and the entire old town is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Oistins Fish Festival

We spend the evening at the popular Oistins Fish Festival — held every Easter for a whole week. There's a huge market, entertainment on every corner and plenty of food — lots of fish, of course. If you happen to be on Barbados around that time, don't miss it.
